| This is a neat little all-in-one package that includes 6 applications - a file/backup manager, a stopwatch, a quick preferences menu panel, an editing popup and calculator popup and a memopad popup. It also comes with a TealTools hack launcher to activate the popups. This is another great product from TealPoint Software and I recommend it. TealFiles Wow, this software displays EVERY file on your Palm. For example, Address Book is actually 8 files of which 7 are databases. Tap on a file and you can display its details or beam it. The system info details were interesting too. Backups can be enabled or disabled as desired or even forced. I didn't change any of these since I'd probably crash my Palm. Files can be filtered by apps, DAs (desk accessories), hacks, TealDocs, TealInfo Folios, TealPaint Pics .pd8, .prc, RAM based, ROM based, by Palm, non-Palm or orphans. Half of these files, I have no clue of their meanings. You can also display their size, type, creator, flags, modified date, backup date, number of records, or MdNum (which lists some hexadecimal number). For the Power Palm user, I'm sure this is a great utility. For me, it showed some interesting details that I won't touch! TealTime This utility has four features - a clock, stop watch, lap timer and timer. The clock is a clock. What more can I say. It can display the current time in 24hr format and show hundredths of a second if you so need that annoying level of detail. The date is also displayed. The stop watch is actually four stop watches that can be started and stopped at different times. Very cool. The lap timer is a stop watch that starts 2, 3 or 4 timers at the same time and allows you stop/restart them individually. Also very cool. The timer allows you time down from a present length of time. Very flexible in that you set the timer to count down from 13 hours, 53 minutes and 4.67 seconds, again, if you so desire. Sets off an alarm at the end. And you can stop and either restart or reset the timer during countdown. TealPrefs TealPrefs displays the most frequently adjusted preferences - sleep time, sound volumes and beam options - in an icon manner that allows you to quick changes to these settings. TealEdit Very useful tool that can be launched within an app, with some neat features: make text all lower case or upper case or first word capitalized make lists with bullets or numbers 1) 2) 3) or letters A) B) C) etc... enter periods . or dashes - or parenthesis' ( ) quickly in phone numbers indent text sort lists in order or reverse order cut, copy and paste text select all text add time, date into text TealCalc |
