Takes a Lickin' and Keeps on Tickin'
by Kam ZaworskiAbout a month ago, one of my partners, Allan, thought he lost his Palm Pilot. He figured that he had dropped it while getting into his car. Since the Palm Pilot is important to our business in tracking billing hours and scheduling, Allan went out and purchased a new one.
Several weeks later he had just finished going through a car wash, got out to pull the antenna up and there it was! The Palm Pilot that he thought lost was jammed in his roof rack. It had be exposed to rain, sleet and the outdoors for over 3 weeks.
Allan pulled the Pilot out and turned it on - It worked like a charm!!.
