Enhancements

We had some handouts, some demos and some first hand experience with several different enhancements for the Palm OS handheld devices.

Digital Cameras     Smile (well really you don't have to because we can add the smile later)

There was an article in TAP Weekly which introduced two digital camera enhancements to your Palm OS device.
IDEO has a still camera for the Handspring.  It can take black and white or colour pictures with resolutions of 160x160 and 320x240.   You can store as many as 500 images in 5MB of memory and the included software will allow for printing, beaming and e-mailing the images.  Kodak has a snap on camera for the Palm III series called the PalmPix.  The camera snaps on to the HotSync port with a lens that point out from the bottom.  The PalmPix captures 640x480 pixels, 24 bit colour images and has a 2X zoom lens.  Both of these cameras display the images on the PDA screen for viewing.
