Topic - Shadow Plan

This month we had Jeff Mitchell, creator of Shadow Plan as our guest speaker.  Jeff has been using PDAs since just about the beginning.  His first PDA was the Newton and since then he has been hooked.  Jeff has been creating applications for quite some time and has an excellent philosophy when it comes to creating applications.  Get this.. He is dedicated to doing it right by designing software for the user by listening to customer feedback.  He adheres closely with both the Palm and Outliner standards to achieve the best possible functionality, flexibility and compatibility.

Shadow Plan is an outliner and planning tool that is highly customizable and integrates seamlessly with the built-in Palm applications.  The features, although growing all the time, are:

QWill Shadow Plan HotSync with Outlook?
AYes.  Shadow Plan is Outlook friendly.  By making use of the Link Manager you can ensure that Outlook reflects the same information.
QWhen you link with other applications is there another file created?
AYes.  The reason I did this was to allow for greater flexibility.
QWill you be adding an "Assigned" view to Shadow Plan?
AYes.  The working name for this feature is "Resource" View.
QWhat are you doing about security/encryption?
AIt is coming.  This is something that I want to do right.  I have some contacts that do encryption, so when the time comes it will be done very well.
